In this project we were asked to put several different types of frames around different pictures. I learned that a frame can really change the way a picture looks of feels.

About meI love photography. I have taken film photography and photo one. It is amazing that you can capture one moment in time. I am here so I can learn more about photoshop.
When I started this class I knew a little bit I had taken photography classes before but I needed to still just practice. The best way to get better is to practice so this is where I started. It was a rough start to say the least. I had a long way to go to show what I am really capable of doing with a camera. When I had a little more practice this is what I got. Still better then where I was before but still could be better. I was still getting the hang of ISO and White balance because those are things what I didn't worry about in film. At this point in need a project that forced to think about more then just how something was placed. So I tries taking picture of glass. Here is where I started with the project and then where I ended the project. (Thanks to a concussion) At this point I am working at really trying to make every picture a good one. Here are the picture I am ending the trimester with and I am proud of.
For this project I started with one idea which turned in to my best picture then I just started taking pictures to see what I could with no purpose really in mind. In my opinion these our some of my best. I tend to think to much and for these I was just have fun. Sometimes things need a little less focus and more creative ability. For the picture above I invited the color then put a black and white layer on top
For this project these are not my best picture but the point was to continue to work on all of the techniques.
Taking pictures of people is one of my favorite things. I love being able to capture the emotion one someones face. I love being able to capture funny or happy moments in peoples lives. So the picture are mostly of Jazzy and Lilly two of my best friend. We all decided to go to the park and I brought my camera with me by the time we left i had 505 picture to choose from. This picture is unedited
For this project we had to find a tutorial for how to do something in photoshop. I didn't pick an easy project. It took me a lot longer then I thought it would. I like how it turned out I didn't do the tutorial exactly i took things it was teaching me and turned it in to my own project. then I tried adding sparkles.
This was a new skill I had to learn this is something that I have never done before. It is something I really want to continue, when I go out to zion national park this summer. I will need to practice a lot before my picture are really good though.
This was not my strong point. This is not my best. In this project I worked with one of my best friends and we played with a lot of lights. I just wanted to try as many different things as possible.
In this project I wanted to learn how to photograph glass. In the pictures you see below is a progression for the photos I took some of them are the best of the first. Then there are the best of the best. The glass is for Budapest and was all hand cut. This made some of my favorite pictures because of all the texture.
For this project we were asked to make people do a double take. We idea for this photo was that are school has been taken over my Disney charters. The were trying to escape the princess but Aril managed to get in.
in this project I was working on shadows and light. This project was actually a challenge for me normal I can pick a topic and just fly with it if everything I could do for the project. This project wasn't like this I had to go to flicker and really look at other photographers work. I am still not sure I capture it perfectly but this is my rendition.
This is a project where we were working on photo retouching now I know how to get rid of thing that don't belong in my photosIn this assignment we were learning how to do pop art in photoshop It was interesting because I am not used to photoshop yet but it was a cool way to start. That is one of my favorite pictures of me at the moment and it was cool to make it in to something new.In all of the photo I took for this project are of 4 ring each ring can with a story the one in my best picture is a cocktail ring that my great grandmother would were when she would throw parties in hollywood. The other two gold rings are my fathers parents wedding rings, because his birth father past away when my dad was 10. 1/25 f 4.0 ISO 400. In this picture the is actually gold. I brought up the exposer and turned it to half black and white.
In this project I wasn't planing on taking pictures of animals but when my friend and I decided to take her dog to the dog park I took the camera with me. Some of the picture have some fun back stories. In the one that I thought was my best the dog had gotten stuck on the ice and couldn't get up. He was looking for help. This picture was taken at an ISO of 1600 shutter speed of 1/4000 and F5.6. The main things I edited was I took down the temp and drought up the exposure. What was it about? This project was for us to learn the elements of composition. What did I learn?I learned more about how to store pictures well so they are easy to see and find.
Within my family I am the 4th of 5 girls, yes you read that right, 5 girls. No there aren't any boys, just us. My dad is great and allows me to spend time working in his shop with him. Over the last six monthes we designed and built 8 beautiful jewelry boxes for Christmas gifts for my family. When not in the shop, I spend my time listening to music or playing clarinet and piano. If you ask my favorite song I couldn't pick one, but my favorite artists are Pentatonix and Against the Current. I would love to pursue a career in photography. The more I can learn the better. This is the thrid photography class I have taken. I took a very basic class in 8th grade and in 9th grade I took film photography. I fall more in love with photography the more I learn.
